Having read a lot about LiFi technology, I can see that there are some issues that might arise. That’s why I decided to write a short article on this topic.
LiFi
Developed by German physicist Harald Haas, LiFi is a technology that allows for internet access through light instead of radio waves. Its spectrum is 100 times greater than Wi-Fi. This means it can carry more data per second than Wi-Fi.
LiFi is used in a variety of settings, including hospitals, chemical manufacturing plants, and undersea explorations. It also provides a faster, more secure connection than Wi-Fi. The technology is expected to become a major driver in the next decade, as mobile devices and the Internet of Things expand.
The system works by sending data through LED light bulbs. They switch on and off billions of times per second. This allows the LEDs to transmit data at 10 Gbit/s. The light spectrum is also much wider than radio frequencies, allowing the system to carry more information.
Li-Fi is also more secure than Wi-Fi, because it does not pass through walls. This prevents intruders from piggybacking on the signal. This technology can also be used in areas that are difficult to install optical fibers.
The main benefit of LiFi is that it uses less energy. LiFi uses LED bulbs, which use only a small amount of electricity, while Wi-Fi uses radio frequencies, which can use up a lot of power.
LiFi also offers a faster connection than Wi-Fi, and it can be used in places that are difficult to install optical fibers. The system can also be used in hospitals, where radio frequencies are not allowed.
PacketFabric
Using PacketFabric’s SDN powered network of coast to coast connectivity between 130 premier carrier neutral colocation facilities in thirteen U.S. markets, the big dogs in the data center space will be able to connect to the cloud on the same wavelength. Similarly, the big dogs in the carrier space will benefit from this innovation as well. Powered by PacketFabric’s SDN-enabled network, customers will be able to connect to a tidal wave of bandwidth via a suite of carrier-neutral data centers, leveraging PacketFabric’s hyperscale network. The network is designed to deliver terabit scale bandwidth in an expedient and cost-effective manner, a feat unheard of in today’s data center environment. Using PacketFabric’s network, customers can be assured that their datacenter connectivity requirements will be met with minimal disruption, a feat not unheard of in today’s highly competitive marketplace. The network is also compliant with the latest industry standards, from SANS Institute to the highest industry standard in the industry.
Jezzibell Gilmore
Currently, Jezzibell is the Chief Commercial Officer of PacketFabric, an organization that is redefining network services. She previously served as the vice president of business development at GTT. She also served as a board member of NANOG, and has a plethora of other tech related awards to her name.
Jezzibell is a true geek, and carries a passion for making the complex stuff easy to understand. As such, she is a great choice to consult with for the tech savvy clientele. The fact that she has a knack for asking the right questions is one thing, but she is also great at keeping the discussion on track. If you’re looking for a smart lady to talk to, check out Jezzibell’s LinkedIn profile. She has a lot of interesting things to say, and the conversation is always interesting. She has also been known to make a great first impression.
It’s no secret that Jezzibell has been around the block a few times. She started her career in academia and has done a fair amount of traveling, including a brief stint as a CIA spied in the U.S.A. She is currently based in Beijing. She has been at it for over twenty years and has a lot to say about the telecommunications industry. As a technology aficionado, she is always on the hunt for the best products and services to vouch for.
